B.Sc + B.Ed Admission in UGC & NCTE Approved Universities

Realizing the importance of education, one has to obtain a special degree in India to do teaching work, which is a B.Sc B.Ed. it is said. If one wants to become a teacher in a government school, then he/ she has to pursue the course of B.Sc B.Ed. And now, the Government has announced that by the year 2019, whether it is a Government or a private teacher. The course of B.Sc B.Ed is a 4-years programme.

In this course, the candidates will be able to learn about education, culture and human values, educational psychology, educational evaluation, education philosophy etc. If the candidates have pursued, then they are ready for teaching work. Furthermore, without this course, one will not be able to work as a teacher.

Course Duration Of B.Sc B.Ed

The academic program is 4-year long. Each academic year is divided into two semesters. Thus, the entire program consists of eight such semesters. This course is approved by National Council For Teaching Education (NCTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC).

In order to pursue a dual degree in B.Sc + B.Ed., the candidates will have to fulfil certain eligibility criteria. The eligibility requirements to fulfil by the students for admission to B.Sc + B.Ed. course are:

  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 in science stream from a recognised school or board.
  • The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved candidates) in the 12th exam with all the subjects put together.
