We would like to inform that as per NEW EDUCATION POLICY (NEP) 2020, B.Ed. Four Years course has finally drafted which has already implemented in 41 Universities. The main objective of ITEP course as per NCTE is recognising that teacher will require training in high quality content as well as pedagogy.
In continuation to inform that B.Ed. ITEP course has developed on the basis of Graduation Hons. Which duration is of 4 years. BA + B.Ed. & B.Sc. + B.ED. comes under ITEP course. The student can save his/her one year because Graduation is of 3 Years and B.Ed. is of 2 Years while in ITEP Course is of 4 Years and in this way 1 Year will be saved. Here, It does not mean the currently B.Ed. course will be stopped.
The currently B.Ed. will be of 2 type that is 1 Year & 2 Years. The eligibility criteria for one year B.Ed. is that the candidate must have Post Graduation Degree in any stream with 50% while in 2 years B.Ed. program the candidate must have Graduation Degree in any stream with 50% and while B.Tech passed degree with 55% could be get admission in B.Ed. of 2 years.
